UCDMO Established
Established in July 2006, all Department of Defense (DoD) and
Intelligence Community (IC) cross domain efforts now fall under the
jurisdiction of the Unified Cross Domain Management Office (UCDMO).
Mission
The UCDMO provides centralized coordination and oversight of all
cross domain initiatives across the Department of Defense and the
Intelligence Community.

Reduce Time to Field CD Implementation
Improve CD Cost Effectiveness
Provide Coordination and Oversight of CD Capabilities
Enhance CD Security and Risk Management
UCDMO Functions
The UCDMO's functions Include:
- Developing a process of managing DoD and IC investments as
they relate to cross domain solutions.
- Assisting the DoD and IC in addressing cross domain
functional needs, based on approved and validated priorities.
- Developing and managing a Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
Roadmap that will identify short, medium, and long term
capabilities.
