         About the UCDMO


UCDMO Established

Established in July 2006, all Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) cross domain efforts now fall under the jurisdiction of the Unified Cross Domain Management Office (UCDMO).

UCDMO Mission:

Provide centralized coordination and oversight of all cross domain initiatives across the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community

CD Community Vision:

Secure cross domain access to and sharing of timely and trusted information, creating a seamless Enterprise that enables decision advantage.

UCDMO Goals

OPTIMIZE CAPABILITIES:  Drive robust and extensible cross domain capabilities to support a secure and integrated information enterprise.

OVERSEE RESOURCES:  Maximize return on CD cross domain investments, reduce duplication of effort, and increase efficiency of CD activities.

MITIGATE RISK:  Support risk-based decisions by enabling global awareness of cross domain operational connections.

PROVIDE LEADERSHIP:  Provide leadership across the interagency spectrum to ensure coordinated cross domain governance, oversight and community reciprocity.
